It is cloudy out this morning and looks like it could rain although there is none in the forecast. It has cooled down significantly down here over the last week or so and is supposed to remain chilly for a few weeks now. Usually December and January and the chillier months and once we hit February, the temperatures start to warm up again.
John and I got busy today constructing the half wall that will divide the kitchen from the living room. We were down to the last two boards when Keith arrived and asked us to help move their mattress from the fifth wheel trailer to the new motorhome. I can't remember if I mentioned this but Keith and Charlotte decided to upgrade and are now the proud owners of a 40 foot motorhome. They were even lucky enough to sell their fifth wheel!! Things are coming together nicely for them.
We arrived down at the community centre and just as Truman pulled up!! For some reason, he took a quick spin in that direction and recognized Keith and Charlotte's truck and trailer so stopped for a chat. We arrived right behind him so we all had a little reunion. He looked awesome and so did his dog Cowboy!!
We got the grand tour of the bus and then moved the mattress which was incredibly heavy by the way!! It took three of us to wrestle it out of the trailer and into the bus!!
We headed over to the grocery store after leaving Keith and Charlotte then headed back to the bus. Man, there is a nasty little chill in the air tonight.
We sat in the trailer admiring our wall and were joined by Kay and Ray for a few refreshments. Pizza was on the menu for tonight's supper and we all enjoyed it with our beer!!
Tomorrow, staining starts. These floors have got to get done.
