Mitch has been busy looking for a place to rent and apparently found one over by Buckeye, Az. He seems happy with it and says he will move in the following week.
Mitch got a call from his sister this week that one of his brothers passed away (it was coming) so he had to make a trip back to Utah for the funeral. He left on Wednesday and says he will be back by Monday. We will see about that I guess!!
We blew through our last load of firewood this week so had to order another load from Dave, the "wood guy". Man, he certainly is fast as I ordered it about 9:00 o'clock and it was here by noon!! With John and I loading the wheelbarrows and wagon and Kay stacking, we were busy for a few hours and then we were done!! Time to start a fire and enjoy the fruits of our labour!!
Ray managed to shoot a coyote this week as the dirty little shit was after Thelma, our resident wild turkey. He said it was a good shot but no one has gone out into the north 40 to look for the body!! Do we really have to?? Lol.
Marilyn left a message saying to book her in for a pedicure so I guess that means they are coming on down this year so that is a very good thing. They will be here by the end of the month and the K&M Airport Shuttle will be operational on February 1st.
The weather has been rainy off and on all this week and the Hassayampa River was flowing again. Now, that is three times this month that the river has flowed and that is more times than all of last year!! We could hear it flowing from the yard so that is indicative of the fury of the water. Wow!!
Not much else happening this week....oh, we did manage to get the little red wagon we got from Kurt repainted and that was a chore as well. We had a hard time fitting that into our very busy schedule. Oh, and Kay got the trim that Ray put up in their Bedroom painted as well. See.......we have been busy!! LOL Life is Good
