Saturday, December 1/2012

OMG, it is the first of December already.  Wow!!  Once again, time is flying by at breakneck speed.  As predicted last night, there was no action in the trailer today.  It was a sleep late kind of day and lets just rest and start again on Sunday.
Keith and Charlotte came by at happy hour for a visit and said that they had put a down payment on a 40 foot motorhome.  They have been wanting to get into something larger and now have finally taken the plunge.  It is exciting and scary all at the same time though.  I am sure they are going to love all the extra room.  Eventually they want to get a jeep and a pull behind trailer but first....baby steps!!  Both John and I are happy for them and wish them only the best of luck on their latest adventure.
Only one javelina came to visit while Keith and Charlotte were visiting but we had lots of birds.  Several cardinals made an appearance and Charlotte was thrilled to see them.  With their brilliant red colours, they were easy to spot.  The hummingbirds also put on quite a show for them too.  I think Charlotte misses her birds.  Her and Keith had quite a little sanctuary and feeding station out in the desert last year.  Oh well, once they get settled with all this new motorhome stuff, they can find a spot and sit for a bit and feed the birds while they discover the wonders of their new home!!
After Keith and Charlotte left, John and I headed into the bus where I got a pizza made and into the oven.  We then sat around and watched curling on TV until it was time to turn the lights off and go to sleep.
