I am up early this morning and am a bit tired!!  Imagine that.  The old grey mare, she ain't what she used to be....keeps floating through my thoughts this morning!!  Maybe I should have quit when John did last night!!  I think that today is a good day to just sit and enjoy the weather!!
Ray and Kay had to take their red truck into Best Buy today to get the stereo installed so they were up and at

John decided we needed to go for a short jeep ride into the desert today so that is what we did.  No one was around as Ray and Kay had left to clean the huge grills that are used for the Easter Picnic in the Park (after they returned from Best Buy).
We accessed the desert from behind the Napa store so that was pretty cool and travelled a trail that wound us through some new country side.  Eventually we accessed a familiar trail that took us back to the train trellis and the Hassayampa River bed.
The last time we were here, I had climbed up to the tracks and put three coins on the rails so,  I climbed back up there and was able to retrieve one of them.  The quarter was flat and really not distinguishable and I was not able to find the dime or the nickel.  Oh well, it was an adventure anyway.
When we got back to the park, Lorne and Marilyn had been there but unfortunately, we missed them.  Oh well, will get together with them tomorrow.
John built a fire while I started some supper.   Kay joined us for a bit then supper was ready and all three of us ate before we all called it a night.
