Another nice day is upon us as the sun is shining and there is not a cloud in the sky.
Ray and Kay are headed back to Surprise to pick up their truck at Best Buy and I took some time today to work on the silver wolf that I am hoping to finish in time for Kay's Birthday on the first of April. I am running out of time!!
John and I went to look at another camper today so travelled to Ben Avery Shooting Range near Carefree to see it. It was almost exactly like the one we had owned previously and was in decent shape so, made the deal and bought it. We had it loaded on our truck and were headed back to Wickenburg ninety minutes later!!
We were home in time met Lorne and Marilyn at the Wickenburg Feed Company for some liquid refreshments and ended up staying for supper. The food was good and we enjoyed our visit. Thank heavens for the taxi service as it is so much easier travelling with them than risking any sort of "issues" with a DUI!!
Mike and Judy (friends of Ray's) arrived today from their winter in Mexico. We had met them briefly last year and when we arrived back in the park, we were asked to come over and sit by their fire for a bit.
Neither John nor I needed any more to drink but we each grabbed a beer and headed over where we stayed for about an hour. Then....it was definitely time for me to crawl to bed and that is exactly what I did. We had an awesome day. Life is Good!!
