Today, Kay and I are off to the city.  We have some shopping to do at Walmart and then Kay is taking me to "BevMo".  Now this would be the "granddaddy" of liquor stores.  They even have their own courtesy card and if you earn enough points through your purchases, then the next time you buy, you get great discounts.  I got a card!!  Booze is pretty cheap down here but they make it even cheaper!!
We headed out and were soon in the suburbs of Phoenix.  Kay has an incredible knowledge of the area and getting around is not an issue for her.  She knows exactly where she is going and is not intimidated by mass quantities of traffic!!
We got all our shopping done and returned to the park by 2:00 p.m..  With our return, we got John into gear with the chainsaw and and had him come to Mitch's where we chopped down two dead trees.  We chopped them up for firewood then, hauled away the branches.  Mitch is currently working so didn't even know we were cleaning up his yard.  We are not going to mention to Mitch about the trees and are going to see how long it takes him to notice that they are gone.
When we were done, we retuned to our homes and treated ourselves to some cool refreshments.  We have had a busy day and to sit and watch the birds and the javelina is another treat of the day.
It remained windy most of the day but the wind is supposed to be gone by tomorrow so hopefully that is true and Ray can get the shed painted.
Once the chill set into the evening, we moved into the trailer and sat around the fireplace!!   Yes, we are diehard campfire enthusiasts!!  MaryBeth has joined us tonight so it is the four of us sitting around the fireplace.  I think we looked like a bunch of losers myself but it was fun!!  We were out of the wind and that was a big bonus.
When MaryBeth left, John, Kay and I sat around the kitchen table playing cards.  It was NOT a good night for me to play as both John and Kay robbed me of many of my quarters!!
Supper was simple fair then it was time for us to call it a day.  All in all, we had another great day.
