I am up early as I have been lying in bed and coughing for the last half hour and I am sure that John is not going to appreciate this rude awakening!!  I finally got up, took some cough medicine and some decongestant and started the coffee.  It is 6:30 a.m. and even the javelina are not out and about yet!!  The birds are and they are once again chirping happily.
We are expecting Lorne and Marilyn today so now we are going to have to have even more fun!!
Ray and Kay headed down to the shop to do some work on the floor so that it can be painted and John and I started on the floor repair.  What a time consuming job but we managed to get it done just as Ray and Kay arrived home from their busy day.
Mitch was over earlier this morning and dropped off his paint sprayer so that it can be used on the ceiling and I took a quick trip to the hardware store for ceiling paint so now we are ready to go.  Hopefully tomorrow will be the day for this.
With the floor now repaired, we called it a day.  It was happy hour and when four o'clock rolled around and Lorne and Marilyn had not yet arrived, I was surprised.   It wasn't until 4:17 that they arrived!!  Now who is ever late for happy hour?  They mist still be on Mexican time!!

We had a wonderful visit and we certainly look forward to spending more time with them while they are here.  OH NO - more fun to come!!
