I was off to help Ray and Kay do some painting today.   They are in the process of refurbishing a property here in Wickenburg for a friend of theirs.  Kay is having some issues with her collar bones (previous fractures) and is finding it quite uncomfortable to paint above her head.  I volunteered to help out as I don't really have any issues that prevent me from working overhead and two more hands will make things go quicker.
We put in four hours at the shop then came home.  John was busy in the trailer and now it is pretty much gutted and ready for the roof to be re-stippled and painted.  Then we can start getting the walls up and painted.  We want to try doing the plywood thing on the walls and the floor in the bedroom.  If we like what we see, then may continue with it throughout the trailer.  If not, we will have to come up with a "plan B"!!  Not sure what that will be though, maybe ceramic tile on the floor.
Happy hour

Life is good!
Happy hour arrived and we once again took the time to relax and reflect on the day's work.  I had thrown a corned beef into the slow cooker this morning so had that and cabbage for supper.  It was good as usual and hit the spot.  More painting at the shop is on the agenda for tomorrow so I need my beauty rest!!   Man, we certainly have been busy since moving into town and that is a very good thing.
