More Deer
It rained a bit last night and when my eyes popped open at 6:30 a.m., it was chilly in the bus.  Hogan had to go out of course so while I was waiting for him to come back in, I started the heater.  Once Hogan was inside I crawled back to bed!!
When I finally did get up, the sun was shining through the windows and the chill was gone.  It is windy this morning - it seems like it has been windy since Utah!!
John was listening to the weather last night,  and informed me that there was a winter snowfall warning out for southern Saskatchewan -  WHAT THE HELL!!  We managed to skirt the snow and lousy weather through I don't know how many mountain ranges and here we are, coming back to the bald prairie and find ourselves worrying about a bloody snowstorm!!  Jesus, Mary and Joseph!!
We continued our journey North, eventually ending up at the James Kipp recreation area.  It is a campground we have stayed in before and has all the necessary facilities that we will need.  Once we rolled up, the  camp host came out and told us that the camping was free as the water had not been turned on yet - Geez - we needed water!!  Oh well, we could dump out tanks (hopefully) before we leave and get rid of garbage.  We found an awesome site that easily accommodated the size of the bus and trailer and was away from most of the large cottonwoods.  We had an open view of a large grassy area in front of the bus and spent the evening watching all the different birds - which included tons of robins,  yellow headed black birds, woodpeckers, Canada geese and many other varieties.  There were tons of deer grazing in the meadow and Hogan had a riot chasing them.  He never came close but man did he think he was the great protector!!
The satellite dish went up and we watched the hockey game.  A quick supper followed and then it was time to head to bed.  We cross back into Canada tomorrow - we are less than 100 miles from Saskatchewan!!
