The wind continued all night and is still blowing a million miles an hour this morning.  Even Hogan is not in a hurry to get outside and brave the elements
It is his day today as he had a vet appointment this afternoon so that he can get all his shots and get his International Health Certificate which is equivalent to a doggy passport.  Once that is done, he is free to travel into the US of A.
With his appointment done, I then head over to Canadian Tire to pick up some stuff for John then head to the grocery store to pick up some stuff for meals for the weekend.
With this done, I make one final stop back at the dentist office and then Hogan and I are on our way back to the farm.
So far, it has been a busy day.
Gloria arrived home early today (she needs to pack her suitcases) as she is headed to Montreal tomorrow for a Occupational Health and Safety conference.  She is the OH&S person in their office.  She will return on Sunday and has a "Honey Do List" for Bernie for the weekend which includes cleaning up the yard for the winter, moving a few vehicles, changing oil in her truck and finish cutting the grass (they have a lot of grass!!).  Hell, I am tired just writing about it!!  John and Bernie are going to be busy this weekend as John also has to change oil on the jeep.
John and I wandered over to the house to get supper started and sat around chatting with Gloria until Bernie got home from work.   We then enjoyed a few refreshments until supper was done then ate the most awesome pork chops and mushroom gravy of all time.  Fresh garden potatoes from my garden in Leoville, coleslaw and apple pie rounded out the meal.  We truly do eat well (I will stat my diet tomorrow) around here.
Supper dishes done and John and I head back to the bus.  At least the wind has finally died down and it is actually reasonably decent out tonight.
Gloria has to be at the airport by 5:00 in the morning so they have a very early day in front of them.  John and I once again spent the remainder of the evening watching TV and you do not really have to guess as to who is warming the sheets up in the bed again tonight!!  Hogan is an awesome little furnace though so he helps out a lot!!
