Oh, it definitely is chilly in the bus this morning.  I quickly get the big heater going and climb back into bed to await the much needed heat waves to permeate the chill.
When I finally did arise, the bus was much warmer and the coffee was soon perking.  When I opened the curtains, there was a definite film of frost on the ground so no wonder it was so chilly in the bus this morning.  According to the weather man, it is supposed to be back up into warmer temperatures  over the next few days.  And that, would be a good thing!!
We are scheduled to learn the game of "bones" today.  Jace and Kim are coming out and we are headed over to the neighbours to play, have some beers and stay for supper.  There is a Rider game on today so John is not too happy about having to miss it but family comes first and he did make the right decision and we are spending time with the family!!  Woo Hoo!  There is still hope for him.
Jace and Kim arrived and we loaded up the truck and headed over.  John and I learned the game of Bones while we played.  It was fun and as it turned out, John and I were on the winning team with Bernie and Gloria.  It was great and we all got a kick out of John when, at the end of the tournament he said "I came, I learned and I conquered"!!  While we played, we listened to the Rider game on the radio and the Riders totally lost.  Boo Hiss!!  I am so glad we decided to play bones rather than stay home and watch a losing game.  Damn those Riders!!
Supper was awesome - roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings.
While we were playing, Jace was busy arranging an impromptu birthday party for Kim tonight back at the farm.  As it turned out, there was a good turn out of people who arrived to celebrate Kim's birthday with her and she was totally surprised by it.  John started a fire and Jace and Kellen fed it throughout the evening with huge sections of fence.  It made for a huge fire and it kicked off more than enough heat to chase away the chill of the evening.  By midnight, almost everyone had departed and it was time to douse the fire and head into our beds.   What a great day.

Gloria, great form!

The fire from the bus, Can you say huge!

No need for the flash here - plenty of light by the fire.

Awesome day!
