It is chilly in the bus this morning and as I look outside I can see that there is a fresh sprinkling of snow on the ground.  Shirley's garden has a white surface just as if someone has taken some icing sugar and sprinkled it over the dirt.  The clouds are grey and look heavy.  I am thinking that we could very easily get more snow or rain.
Today is the day that John and I start our journey South.  We are headed into Saskatoon today and will stay there for a week or so doing the doctor, dentist, vet thing.  After saying goodbye to family and friends, we are sooo out of here and hopefully into the warmer weather although I am sure there will be some chilly weather at some point along the way.
It will be nice to be able to just sit and relax on the way down.  Just watch the scenery go by and enjoy knowing that we will be in the warmer weather soon.  It is still too hot in Arizona (sitting in the high 90s )for me but by the time we arrive, it should be good.  Upper 70s is good for me!!
There are just a few things on the list left to do and John is hoping to get out of here early this afternoon.  It will be nice to be settled into our parking spot behind Cummins Canada tonight early so that the jeep can be unloaded and then we will be ready to leave the bus in their care at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow for whatever repairs are required.
We arrived in Saskatoon and already Jace has contacted us and invited us over to his shop for a beverage.  He is headed back out on the road tomorrow so this just may be the last time we see him before heading South.
Our spot for the night

We quickly unloaded the jeep and headed over to his shop.   Kim was there and was busy cleaning all the "farm" dirt off the dash.  John had hurt his back earlier in the day and was still not feeling well so when it was time to head for supper, he returned to the bus.  Jace, Kim and I headed over to Boston Pizza as Jace had a craving for pasta.  It was good and once done, the kids dropped me off at the bus and called it a night.
John was still feeling poorly so I hope he is better tomorrow.  I had forgotten just how noisy this city was as the planes were flying over and making a terrible racket.  We were sitting under a flight path for the airport so it is a good thing that it is only for this one night.
