Hey!!!  I slept in!!!  It was quarter to nine when I opened my eyes and that was awesome.  The sun is shining again this morning and although it is supposed to get into the mid to high 20s today, there is a bit of wind blowing so that will help with the heat.
Ariane and Larry are supposed to be arriving today so we will be busy with them for a few days.  John and I are supposed to be heading into Spiritwood today to pick up some more lumber and a few other things for the man cave before they arrive.  We may even stop at the appliance place and check out the price on a fridge and freezer.  Now that we have power, we can just go crazy on appliances!!  Woo Hoo!!
Larry and Ariane did arrive and the trip to Spiritwood never did happen but there is always tomorrow.  Their motor home is a bit smaller than ours but the inside looks like it was never used.   It is light in colour and quite cheery inside.  They have one slide which only extends about 15 inches but makes the interior a whole lot bigger.  I really like it and Ariane seems pleased with it as well.  She has way more room in this thing than she did in their car hauler trailer.  They brought their little tracker up on the car dolly so we decided to head to Bear Lake for a beer.  It will be nice to just sit by the water and watch the evening roll in.
We headed off and soon were in the mud.  The trail was much wetter than the last time we were on it but it was easily managed.  Larry bumped his undercarriage off a few rocks along the way as his tracker is not lifted at all but he managed the trail just fine.  When we got to the lake, the beavers had been very busy and there was one huge tree down and in our way so we had to get the winch out and drag it out of our way.  With that done, we finally made it to the lake only to be greeted by Mr and Mrs Beaver and a whole lot of tail slapping on the water.  They were not happy with us disturbing them.  They are building a new lodge right by the shore line right where we park when we visit the lake!!  Silly place to build your lodge if you don't want any company!!
We stayed by the lake for about and hour or so then headed back to Leoville and supper.  While travelling back on the grid, John and I saw a Mom moose and two babies crossing the road.  I managed to get a picture of them through the windshield but as you can see by the pic, the window was filthy so there is a big splotch of ugly in the pic.  Damn, whose job is it to keep the windshield clean?
Back at the bus, supper went on the BBQ and we were soon eating ribs, new potatoes and beans from the garden.  Mmmm...
Headed to Bear Lake

The ripple from Mr. Beaver's tail slap

Mrs. Beaver is not happy either
