I awoke to sunshine.....sweet, warm, glowing sunshine and not a rain cloud in the sky. Nothing but fluffy white clouds and blue sky as far as the eye can see. WOO HOO!!!
It looks like it will be a fence building day.
We did get another stretch of the fence done and that is a good thing. With all projects around here, it seems like it is taking forever to get it done!! Soon though, soon!!
Dave headed into Saskatoon today for his doctor's appointment and Shirley was busy all day cooking up a storm. She made meat pies, biscuits, pizza and Lord only knows what else. She did bring John and I each a meat pie for supper and some still warm biscuits. I love when she has a "kitchen" day.
Dave arrived home and Gary joined us and soon we had a "party". Of course we don't need much of a reason to sit and enjoy the day.
John started a fire and we all sat around it until it was time for everyone to head home and have supper. Shirley has to work in the morning and Gary is headed into Saskatoon to pick Arlene up at the airport. She is flying in tomorrow for a 3 week visit so it will be nice to chat with her again.
Once everyone left, John got the bbq going and threw some ribs on. It will be ribs, rice and coleslaw for us. Yummy!!
The evening was awesome (no rain) and all in all, it has been another good day.
