Another day of painting is on the agenda for Kay and I and we finally got into gear around 10:30 this morning although we actually did not get painting until a good hour later.  When we arrived at the house, the dry wall guys were there to finish  the ceiling in the kitchen and we had to wait until that area was stippled before they cleared out of our way.  We also had to head downtown for some new rollers and also took the time to clean up the mess left by the plumbers so...painting was late in starting.
Eventually though, we did get going and several hours later, the living room/dining room ceiling was done.  Together, Kay and I are painting fools!!
John continued to look for a van or truck and camper for us and Ray headed into Surprise and the Home Depot (with his brother Curt) for some wood for the door that is needed on the shed we just cleaned out.  Curt wants to store his quad in the shed over the summer and is helping build the door so it can be secured properly and locked.
When Kay and I got back to the park, we found everyone sitting on their back porch enjoying some beverages.  The javalina had just left so, neither Kay nor I got to see them tonight.
Being Thursday, it is shuffleboard night for the group so John (being the only one capable of driving) hauled Kay, her friend Kurt and Mitch down to the bar.  Ray has to get up early again tomorrow for his appointment at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Prescott so has decided to stay home.
When John returned, he had a hankering for steak and baked potatoes so I got some steak out of the freezer, hit defrost and presto....steak ready for the grill.
We ate as soon as it was grilled and with in a few hours, the shuffle boarders were ready to come home so off John went to retrieve them.
When they got back, he started a campfire and we sat around it for a while.  Kurt was the first to call it a night, then me, then Kay and last but not least...John who is the park's resident night owl!!
Tomorrow we are headed out for another road trip.
