Today, Kay and I are headed into the swap meet at Whitman for the plants that Ray wants for their front yard.   The little fellow there said he would have some bougainvillea  plants available this Saturday so we headed in.  As promised, they were there and looked wonderfully healthy.  The price was more than reasonable and we got him a red one and one that was a combination of pink and orange.  Both were tall and could be used as either a vine or made into a bush.  I think he is going to be doing the "bush" thing with them.  Either way, they will look awesome.
When we got back to town, we stopped at the drug store to pick up the alcohol and the glycerine so that I could start the tanning process on the snakeskin.
We then stopped at Alco to see if they had any cucumber plants for Ray to plant in his garden.  We were lucky enough to find some for him so now his little garden will be complete.
with all our shopping done for the day, we headed back to the park.
Ray and Kay are heading to Congress today to watch the rock crawlers.  They make a stop once a year in Congress.  It is part of their circuit.
John was hoping to go see another truck camper today and we are now waiting for a call back on it.
As it turned out,  the call never came so we stayed here today relaxing and enjoying another quiet day.
Mitch stopped by after he was done with his roof.  As it turns out, he was short one 2x4 and one sheet of plywood so was unable to finish the job.  Now, that sucks for him but I think he is glad to take the day off (from all the labour intensive work) tomorrow and finish up on Monday.
Ray and Kay returned from the rock crawl and said that it was pretty awesome to see the way some of the vehicles climbed.  Many of the participants actually do this for a living so some of the rigs were pretty impressive.  I think John and I should plan on going next year.
Once again, we sat outside until the sun went down and John got a fire started.  It is nice having a bit of wood around so that we can indeed have these little impromptu evening fires.
Everyone was home and in bed by midnight all tucked away safe and sound.  It was another good day.
