The sun is shining this morning and there is no clouds in the sky. It looks like it is going to be a great day. When I opened the computer today, I noticed that the temperature back home was sitting at -37C and that did not include the windchill so I imagine it is -40C at least. Too cold and I am sure that there are a few vehicles that will not start in this cold.
We got a call from Casey yesterday saying that his little vehicle did not want to shift out of park so hopefully it is something easy to fix and he can get it into the warm shop where he works to see if he can find the problem. It sounds like the button on the shifter won't push down so hopefully it is an easy fix. We will wait to see how it goes for him today.
I drove into town to pick up the supplies John needed to built the tilt bars for the solar panels. Apparently one needs to tilt the panels in order to get the optimum amount of sunshine on them. This makes them just that much more efficient.
I picked up a few groceries and stopped at the UPS store for a couple of packages then headed back to the quiet solitude of the desert.
We watched the sunset and although it was not as spectacular as the one a few days ago, it did signal the move into the bus and another game of yahtzee.
Supper and TV, computer and kindle rounded out the evening!! Such an exciting life we lead!!
