A weekend at Bernie and Gloria's (Kim's Parents)

Putting on water

Kimmy, Marie, Jace and Coors

We are planning on starting our journey south today.  Jace and Kim are heading into town later today as Kim is jumping into the semi and heading out on the road with Jace for a few days before she heads to Las Vegas for a week.
We top off the water tank, say our goodbyes and start our journey.  We have a few days before we cross into the states so are not in any real hurry.  Hopefully,  the weather holds and we will be able to sit and enjoy a few more Canadian autumn evenings.
We stopped tonight at a little road side camp area just outside of Elrose.  It is a bit chilly and John says it is going to go below zero tonight so I guess it is time for the radiant heaters to be used.  It won't take long for them to take the chill out of the air and it will be more than comfortable for sleeping.
Although I hate the fact that we are leaving friends and family behind, I find myself in a state of eager anticipation for our journey and the eventual reconnection with our American friends and acquaintances.
