It is chillier this morning - welcome back to Saskatchewan!!   Hogan has already been outside checking the perimeter and making sure that all is well in his neighborhood.   I don't hear any wild excited barking so all must be well.
We got back into Leoville with plenty of time for me to walk over to the SGI licensing office and get plates for the latest acquisition.  Being 30 years old, it can be licensed as an antique.  Doing this, makes the plates much cheaper and when push comes to shove with our Government insurance, they really don't pay you what the vehicle is worth anyway so we might just as well license it this way and if there ever is any damage to it, either trash it or fix it ourselves.
One of neighbors came over to inform us that there had been a hunting accident resulting in a death while we were gone.  Some fellow went out to shoot a pesky cougar and never returned.  I work at the old folks home with his sister.  Sad, but I guess that is life.  One never really knows when their number is up.
John decided to park the trailer over on the other lot as he says he has stuff in the garage that needs to be put back into it and that perhaps tomorrow he will start getting it ready for the trek South.  We backed the bus up just in the driveway of the home lot as we are only going to be here in Leoville for a few more weeks.
With us settled back in town, Gary and Arlene came over for a quick visit to check out the new jeep then Dave and Shirley wandered over as well.  With the ooohhs and the aaahhs over with we sat around the campfire for a while then headed into the bus for supper and bed.
Jeff (Dave's brother) is coming out again this weekend for a visit so hopefully we can get a quad ride in before he leaves Sunday.  The leaves are in their full autumn splendor so it should be beautiful in the forest.
