Today, Ariane and I are off to the beauty salon to get beautiful!! Although we are both beautiful on the inside, we need to be beautiful on the outside too!! We had made hair appts earlier in the week and now here we are. It was alot of fun and we entertained Shelly, the hairdresser with our stories and humor. Three hours later, we were both done and out the door for a days shopping. We went to several little stores and made several purchases, each managing to find a bit of jewelry to add to our jewel boxes. Somehow, we managed to use up the majority of the day - now isn't that something!! Yesterday, we had decided to head into town for the "All you can eat" fish and chips at the Seven Restaurant so once we got back to camp, we quickly got ready and headed back in for supper. Now what could possibly be better than shopping all day then going out for supper?
It is always nice to see old friends and acquaintences and going to the Seven is always fun. Tonight, we caught up with Cloud and he came over to say Hi and asked how John's leg was doing and welcomed us back to Wickenburg.
After supper, we headed to the Rancher Bar and karaoke. Larry and Ariane stayed for a while then headed back to the campsite while John and I stayed till closing then phoned the taxi and got a ride back to the campsite with Max. It cost us $20.00 and that included the tip. It is nice to know that Max would be more than happy to come get us whenever we need a safe ride into or out of town. I enjoyed the evening and could sit and listen to the singing for hours. I can't wait for Jace to come and experience this Bar and all the singing with us. I think he will have a blast!!
