Today, I phoned the property owner and asked if we could have another look at the property. He wasn't home so I left a message on his answering machine. I said not to hurry, but sometime this weekend, we would like to see inside the buildings again. I had to chuckle because the owner was over here at the bus not 30 minutes later, ready to show us the property again.
We went over to look and by the end of our conversations, John and I agreed to purchase the property for 1/3 the asking price. It is a good deal and I guess we will be staying in town. Forget the acreage thing and all the work that comes with it!!
Let the planning begin!!
