It is dreary and chilly out this morning. There is rain in the forecast for the next three days. There are some ugly grey clouds in the sky and I fear that before too long, the rains will come. It is windy as well today.
My first job today was to get the chairs stored away so that they do not get wet and with that done, I now can sit here and get the blog caught up.
The rain is a welcome necessity for the forest and I really do hope it rains hard for the next three days. Unfortunately, that is the last thing the farmers need when they are scrambling to get their crops in the field. Nature can not please everyone all the time.
It started raining before noon and it continued the whole day. One day down and two to go according tot he weather man. It is a good soaking rain and I fear that once it does stop the grass will have grown another six inches and be in need of another cutting. God - my back just stopped aching from the last go around!!
Glen, the electrician showed up today and John took him over to the shop to show him what we wanted done. He sounded quite familiar with all the stuff that Sask Power is wanting from him so hopefully he can get all the stuff submitted soon and we can have power in the shop. Woo Hoo!! Now that will be nice. It is so much nicer to work in an area when you can actually see what you are doing!!
As the rain continued, John and I had a very relaxing day. We simply sat around (him on the computer and me reading my Kindle) and recuperated from the weekend. It was nice not having to be up and running around.
Day turned into evening and the hockey game came on so we watched that then had supper and soon it was time for bed. What a lazy day we have had!! How Nice.
