My eyeballs popped open at 7:00a.m. this morning (I just can't seem to sleep in) and the sun is shining and there is very little wind (compared to yesterday).  It looks like it will be a good day for travel.  It will be interesting to see how far along the new buds are on the trees as we make our way home to Leoville.
We packed up and before too long were headed down the road.
The racers had left earlier and we can hear the cars revving their engines and heading down the track.  The farm is only a few miles from the track and the sound carries.
It is good to be on this final leg of our trip.  Home is now in our cross hairs!!  While traveling, we got a text from Keith.  Their generator was not working properly and he was picking John's brain as to what the issue was.  We text back and forth for probably an hour before the two of them figured out what the problem was and fixed it.  It was one of those classic "long distance" repair jobs!!  It turned out to be a vapour lock and the fix was an easy one once the problem was diagnosed.  The last text we sent to Keith was something along the lines of "stop running it out of gas"!!   The whole generator repair took up most of the drive to Leoville and certainly made the time go by rather quickly.
Before we knew it, we were entering town and parking the bus on our lot.  OH it is good to be home!!
Shirley came home from work so was over shortly there after.  Dave's brother Jeff was here for the weekend and they were out on the quads.   When they arrived home, they too came over and since Gary our next door neighbour was with them, he came over as well.  PARTY!!!  Welcome back to Leoville!!
It was baked potatoes and BBQ steak for supper tonight and as usual, it was awesome.
We are planning on going for a quad ride tomorrow so it is time for bed.  Once again I am feeling like I need my beauty rest!!
