I heard Lorne leave this morning which is strange as I had not heard him leave the previous two days.
Once again, he is off for what he suspects is going to be another long day.
It is very foggy out this morning.  The airstrip is shrouded in fog and the clouds look to be on the ground.  Cool looking but rather eerie!!
Marilyn and I have decided that we need a little "retail" therapy so are headed into Fernie to check out the stores. There are a few shops Marilyn thinks I need to check out!! Hopefully we will be able to hook up with Kelsey for lunch.
We do not have to worry about preparing supper tonight as there are plenty of leftovers from last night!!
Marilyn and I headed into town and were able to have Kelsey join us so that was fun. We then headed into the stores to "check" things out.
We managed a stop at Sheri's house for a beer (it was happy hour) then finally were headed back to the ranch. It was already 5:00 o'clock and time to get home.
John was busy all day with the blog and just chillin by himself. He did have a visitor - a woodpecker landed on the window sill and was rather intrigued by his reflection. He managed to get it on video and posted it to facebook.
Lorne arrived home closer to 7:00 o'clock and was not too impressed by his long day.
We spent a quiet evening then it was soon time for supper. Lorne ate and headed to bed as he is once again working although he will be off at 4:00 tomorrow.
It is Lorne and Marilyn's 43rd wedding anniversary today and they are headed down to a quaint little bed and breakfast in Whitefish, Montana for the weekend.

They will be leaving tomorrow evening after Lorne gets off work.
All in all, it was another good day here on the ranch.
With full bellies, we all headed to bed and hoped for sweet dreams!!
