It is Remembrance Day today.  A day to stop for a minute to remember all those who have served in and, are still currently serving in the military. To those members who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we today can live and enjoy the freedoms that we hold so dearly.

A simple "thank you" does not seem to be enough.  Lest We Forget.....
The sun is shining today and although the forecast does not seem to be all that great for this upcoming week, there is no snow on the ground as yet.
It is soon time for us to be heading out.  Time to perhaps head further south to warmer weather.
It was a quiet day today, spent relaxing.  It was time to do some general cleaning and to rid the fridge of leftovers so there is nothing fancy about tonight's supper!!
Kay got home from work a bit earlier today so that was a nice change.  She said it was pretty cold up where she was working this morning and it never really did warm up.  Her days too are numbered due to the upcoming weather.  She will be glad to hang up her work boots for another year.
