It is Walmart day today!! The first one of the trip. I am sooo excited.
We found one that was just off the interstate outside of Pocatello. We had an easy in and easy out so life is good!!
John was fretting about the internet issue last night as it was time to do some banking so when I went in to the store, he got on the computer to see if there were any free wifi signals around. There were...who knew Lowe's lumber would have wifi!!
With my shopping done and John's banking done, we headed on down the road. I-15 South is an easy travel with the double lanes for traffic and we were soon pulling into a Shell station for gas. While there, we noticed a small campground tucked in behind the gas station.
Well, this looked like a good place to park for the night AND the sun was shining and for some reason, I just wanted to sit in my lawn chair and soak up some much needed rays!!
I went and inquired at the gas station about the cost and was happily informed that because we had filled up our tanks with gas, the cost was FREE!! Hello......we had full hookups - water, sewer and power. We could charge the batteries on the camper, fill up with water and dump our sewer. We had just discovered Nirvana!! (Oh and I could have an extra long shower in the morning....BONUS)
John got the chairs out and set up and I grabbed two beer. Oh dear....this was going to be so very good. Cold beer and sunshine!!  What more can a girl ask for?
Our spot for the night

Enjoying the sun shine.   First sunshine in several days!!

Sun going down behind the mountain

An owl sat in this tree hooting for most of the night!!
It was kind of cool.

Hogan had the run of the place and was his usual happy self.
An hour or so later, another RV pulled in and they started to set up for the night. It was an older couple and after an hour of farting around, John went over and asked if they had an issue and would he maybe be able to help. As it turned out, the couple were from Alberta, had purchased the trailer in September and were now having to deal with an issue in their hot water tank. Fortunately John had a part that would work for a repair and the couple were able to have hot water for the rest of their trip south. When the fellow asked John how much he owed him, John simply said nothing.
