OMG....after partying for half the damn night last night, I feel pretty good!!
It is rather dreary out this morning and it looks like rain. Eventually the rain turned to snow (big snow flowers by the way) and that did not bode well for today's upcoming travel.
Lorne and Marilyn stopped by to say goodbye (I was still in my pyjamas and John was in the shower). Lorne looked like he was ready to greet the day but Marilyn said she "felt like shit". Seriously, I can't imagine that after all the fun we had last night!!
We actually had good travelling weather today. There was rain for a while but eventually that stopped and we were into clear skies.
We stopped for the night at Chief Looking Glass State Park and fishing access. A quiet spot nestled amongst the tall evergreens with a quaint little river meandering along side.

Hogan enjoyed the freedom and put the fear of God in a few of the local squirrels!! For $12.00 bucks a night, it was awesome.
John and I walked around the park to stretch our legs from the day's travel then we settled in for a quiet evening. It was pork chops, mashed potatoes and cream corn for supper and it was most tasty. John got more pictures uploaded to the blog and I read my book. Life is good!!
