Well, the water pipes did not freeze last night so that is a good thing. I don't think it got as chilly as the weatherman predicted. I love when he is wrong!!
It is very dreary out this morning. The clouds look heavy and are hanging below the mountain tops. We are either going to get rain or snow. Shit, oh dear!!
Well, it was snow and, plenty of it!! Fortunately, it did not last long but it was sure pretty when it was falling. I forgot how incredible it could be when one is on the inside where it is warm, looking out at a winter wonderland.
Hogan was not too terribly impressed but he did venture out into it for a little while.
Where Kay was working today, the snow really came down so their work was stopped and she was able to come home early. She said she had zero visibility on her roller as there was so much steam coming off the asphalt when the snow was falling on it!! She could not see the paver in front of her so of course the job had to be stopped.
Kay and I took off to the grocery store and also stopped by the Flying J to fill her other propane tank. The one had emptied yesterday so we had better get it refilled especially, if she is required to stay here for another week!!
It was Brats and sauerkraut for supper (neither John nor Kay like sauerkraut but too damn bad!!) and it was delicious.....even if I am the only one that thought so!! They had mashed potatoes, coleslaw and brats instead!! Some people just do not have a fine culinary palate!!
We watched a football game tonight then John had to watch Dumb and Dumber.....again!!
We are headed to a Bellamy Brothers concert tomorrow so I had to get to bed early tonight so that I was ready to go for tomorrow. It should be fun and I hear that I just may get to meet them. Woo Hoo!!
