Happy Halloween to all.  Hopefully you have all sorts of scary little ghosts and goblins at your door tonight. I have a bag of candy here just in case I get some trick or treaters coming to the bus.  If not, I will give the treats to one of the girls in Wickenburg who is looking after her two grandchildren.  I am sure they will enjoy them.
It was a lazy day today and I did a lot of reading.  Kay is at work today and is hoping to find out if she gets her lay-off notice.  If she does, she is headed back to Wickenburg for the winter and will enjoy her time off.
Kay got home and yes, she is officially done on the road crew until next Spring.  Woo Hoo!!  She is happy to be done and actually says there were only two really scary moments on the road this year.  Both involved traffic and both times she could have been killed.  I am not sure if people realize the real danger that is involved for these workers.  Anyway, she is done and she is happy.
John is cooking supper for us tonight so we wandered over to her site and sat outside for a bit enjoying a beverage until it got too windy and chilly.  We met her next door neighbour and his girlfriend and they sat outside with us as well.  Hogan got lots of attention from them so he was in his glory.  He tried harassing the cats but they would not have anything to do with him so he quickly tired of that.
Supper was great and after the dishes were done, John and I walked back to the bus.
We are planning on taking a scenic byway tomorrow so it is off the bed for us so that we can be bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow's adventure.
