Once again, I am up early and have the coffee pot on and slowly perking away. I managed to actually hold onto the damn thing today so no clanging and banging around this morning. Man, John must be kind of shocked at the general peace and quiet in the trailer today!!
The sun is shining through the windows this morning as it is pretty flat country here and it has no hills to get over before it meets the trailer.
The Magpies are singing their usual annoying songs but even that can be appreciated on a day such as this.
We headed further down the road today only to make a stop in Saratoga Springs, Utah. They have a
Walmart!! LOL and of course, there is always something that needs to be bought!!
We will be camping beside Utah Lake tonight and that is just a bit further down the road.
While I was in the store, Kay chatted with John on the phone and they realized that she was only a few blocks away and had just finished work.
So, we gave her directions to the campsite and spent the evening with her.....one day ahead of schedule. We convinced her to stay for the night and we made John cook supper for us while we sat around having a few adult beverages!! It was fun.
Once supper was ready, we went inside and turned the TV on. We needed to see who was winning the election and much to our surprise.....Donald J. Trump was leading!! Holy Buckets...Shit is going to hit the fan down here in the old U.S. of A!!
Time for us to head to bed......
