Once again, Kay and I were up early.  The sun had not crested the hill yet so there was a bit of chill in the air.  The wind has blown all night and there is still a bit blowing this morning.  Hopefully it will die down once the sun is shining.
Kay made breakfast and then it was time to get into gear.
She was busy emptying cupboards and getting the trailer packed up and I actually got the bathroom cupboard rearranged.  John was busy scouting out places to park for the trip down to Arizona and I actually got the blog caught back up.  Man, the hussle and bussle around here today would make your head spin!!
Kay and I headed downtown for a quick trip.  She broke her hairbrush this morning so that definitely needed to be replaced.  Since she had decided this Spring to grow her hair all to one length, there is more of it and of course with the thickness, well, there is no way she can be without a brush.
One of the taillights is burnt out on the trailer hauling Henrietta so that too needed to be purchased and replaced.  It was a quick trip and then we were back at the park to continue packing up.
I headed over to the bar to pay our Saturday night bar bill and was surprised to find that it was only $106.00!!  It is good to know that we are trusted enough to run a tab.  I guess being friends with the owner is a great benefit!!  Anyway, we all had a fun time on 106 bucks!!
The wind died down for most of the day and it was only when John decided that we needed an evening campfire (haven't missed a day since we arrived) that Mother Nature decided that a little wind would add to the ambiance!!  Man, I truly regret not bringing the "big" umbrella.  It would have been of great benefit in blocking the gale force winds!!  I might have to find another Walmart or perhaps a Home Depot and pick one up.  I am sure there are going to be more windy evenings in our travels.
Mitch arrived back here tonight after his weekend at Nascar in Arizona.  It was a busy few days for him so he only stopped for about half an hour.  He dropped the cooler off and headed home to Payson.  He had to work tomorrow and I am sure he would have rather just had a quiet night to rest up after all that driving.  He loves his Nascar though so doesn't see it as a chore to go that many miles for the race.
Bill Jr. also stopped by to pick his cooler up.  He timed it beautifully as Mitch had just arrived back here with the cooler.   When I went to give the cooler to Bill, I found that Mitch had left some Chaladas in the cooler for me.  Last year him and I took turns buying the Chalada as him and I both enjoy drinking them!!  He said it was his contribution for my trip to Arizona and that he would think there would be some in the beer fridge when he got back to Arizona.  I of course assured him that there most definitely would be!!  Bill only stayed for one beer as he was feeling the chill from the wind.  Man, it truly was ugly!!
The Super Moon was still very much apparent in the night sky tonight so we tried to get a few pictures of it.  They didn't turn out all that well but Hey... it was the Super Moon so we couldn't pass up the chance to get some pics.
The wind soon chased us inside and John quickly got the steaks on the barbeque.  He told us he was unsure of the cooking time as the bloody wind might play a factor in the preparation.  He sure didn't have to worry as they were cooked to perfection and so very tender and juicy.  I don't think one can beat a rib eye on the BBQ unless of course, it is a prime rib!!  Mmmm.  Supper was delicious.
Supper rounded out our day and it was time to head to bed.  There is still a bit of packing up to do but that will be completed tomorrow.
The wind is still howling and the trailer is a rocking.......should be a good night to sleep..... Nothing like being rocked to sleep by Mother Nature.   Life is good
