The Logandale Trail system is over 200 miles of trails suitable for all types of OHVers.  The system sits on the scenic eastern boundary of the Valley of Fire.  It consists of one main easy loop and a variety of side trails that wind through a chain of red sandstone rock formations.  It sits amongst sparse desert vegetation and the trail is a combination of rock, pebbles and sand.
We headed out onto the trails and were immediately assailed by dust!!  Oh dear, I'm thinking we are going to be very dirty by the end of this ride!!
The weather was great and there was a bit of a breeze so that was a blessing with the amount of dust that was rising up from the tires!!  I rode with Kay in Henrietta and she was pretty good about staying back far enough out of John's dust.
We travelled about 32 miles today and saw some pretty incredible scenery.  Much of it reminded me of the terrain around Moab, Utah with the blow sand and rock that looked pretty much like slick rock in some areas.  It was a good ride.

The day ended around the campfire and John cooked salmon for supper.  It was delicious as usual.  The cats did good today, they stayed in the trailer while we rode and enjoyed the evening outside before we all headed to bed.  Life is good!!
