It is Football Sunday and that means only one thing. We are again in competition for winning the football board and the day will be consumed with watching the teams on TV. It is also the CFL semifinals so that adds two more games to the pot!!
We decided yesterday to do an enchilada casserole for supper so Kay got that ready and into the slow cooker. This way, no one has to worry about cooking when the games are on.
We had a bit of company again today but once most of the games were over, it was just the three of us to watch the last game and eat.
The casserole was delicious and I would gladly include this is our lazy day menus. John thought it was too "spicy" hot but it really wasn't. Kay and I just thought he was being a whiny baby!!
Tomorrow, he get to cook supper!!
None of us won the football pool and that made all of us sad. It was won by one of the women that Kay works with!!
With supper over and the games done for the day, it was time for us to say good night. Tomorrow will be a bit busier with Kay doing some final packing and general clean up. We will be out of here on Wednesday to avoid the coming "cold" weather that is headed this way.
