Tuesday, March 1/2011

It is the first of March.  I can hardly believe it.  As I look out the bus windows this morning I noticed how green the desert is starting to get.  The rain and snow on the weekend was just the little kick it needed to welcome the coming of Spring!!  Now,  isn't that a nice thought.
The sun is streaming thought the windows and it sure looks like we have a beautiful day in store for us.
Charlotte enjoying the fire

Keith going to take a picture

Start of the sunset

Can we have some!

Another great sunset

Fire in the sky
John's Mom and her friend Georgie were to start back to Canada yesterday according to Ariane's blog so I wonder if they will be stopping by today.  The two of them have been busy busy busy by the sounds of it and I am sure, loved all the sites they saw.  I haven't heard if the fifth wheel got sold but hopefully it did.  One less worry for Georgie.
John worked on the jeep again today and buy all accounts, it is progressing nicely.  Jim stopped by and asked if John would help him change the distributor and do some other stuff to his Jeep tomorrow so I guess "Frank" will have to share John's time!!
Happy hour rolled around and Charlotte, Keith and Ben arrived just in time.  They brought hotdogs and so I am saved from the hot ovens of my kitchen once again!!  Life is grand!!
We started a fire and had the pleasure of another beautiful sunset (as you can see by the pics).  Even the hotdogs tasted wonderful under this sunset.
While we were sitting around the fire, the phone rang and it was John's Mom.  They are in Brenda visiting Aunt Dorothy  and will be here tomorrow morning for coffee.  Now isn't that funny, I was wondering about the girls this morning!!
The coyotes were rather vocal tonight, much to Hogan's amusement and he spent a good hour touring the perimeter of the glow from the fire warning them to "stay away".  He got to play the big protector!!  Grace and Ben had gone home by this time so Hogan was on his own.
Charlotte and Keith left soon after the coyotes started singing with the idea of returning tomorrow with the trailer in tow.  Van Man has left his site and Charlotte and Keith will be moving into the neighborhood.  Keith works from the internet so all he needed was to make sure he has a connection and he is set to go.  John said he would go through the trailer with Charlotte and tell her everything she needs to know about it.  She is a novice about RV life as she has only been doing it a week!!  That, my friends, is one brave woman.  Hats off to you Charlotte - you girl, are a force to be reckoned with.
With all the company gone, we let the fire burn down and John ate the last of the hotdogs.  I caught the midnight showing of The Good Wife then, it was time for my beauty rest - have to look lovely for the girls tomorrow!!
