Just another lazy day in the desert!

Char, I love your leopard pants!

Fire Goddess
Well, Hogan and I are up early and the sun is shining.  It was hot yesterday and it looks like today is going to be just as good, if not better!!
Ben is headed into Surprise today for all his final doctor's appointments before his surgery next Thursday.  He will probably be gone most of the day and will probably be a bit weary upon his return.  He decided to leave Grace in the back yard at the apartment while he is gone so I will have to give him the gears about not bringing her to me for the day!!  Hopefully he gets the green light for the surgery.
I have no real plans for today, other than the usual tidying up, dishes and of course my reading!!
As you can see by the pic of Hogan, even he is relaxing!!  John was down at Charlotte's trailer taking measurements of the battery box and jack stands as they need some adjustments for optimal function and found Charlotte reading.  When he came back to the bus he mentions something about Charlotte coming to get me for a hike.
We headed out onto the trails and were gone a good two hours (maybe longer, I forgot to look at my watch).  We got back just in time for happy hour!  John had just finished with all his building - now Charlotte had jack blocks and her batteries are secured properly.
Keith had to leave early this morning for Phoenix (had to visit with his sister) and we are not expecting him back tonight.  We invited Charlotte for supper and were sitting around the campfire and about to get supper on the grill when Keith phoned and said he was on his way home!!  He was not going to stay in Phoenix for the night and arrived back here just as supper was ready.  Awesome timing Keith!!
The stars were very bright tonight and the wind that had been blowing earlier had died down and the evening was more than pleasant.  Good conversation, good food and good company and an awesome view - now what more could one ask for?  What a way to end the day.
