What an awesome day. It is warm and sunny. Already, the door is open and the rays are shining in. Perhaps we have seen the last of the need for the morning heater.
The birds are busy at the feeder and the hummingbirds are battling amongst themselves - they are territorial little suckers!!
It looks like there was a party here last night so I had to quickly go out and pick up some beer cans that seem to have missed the garbage can!! I simply cannot have a messy campsite!!
Mom and Georgie phoned, they got the last room at the Best Western and said although it was a "smoking" room, the beds were glorious and they both had a wonderful sleep. They are revved up and ready to go again today.
John worked on the jeep again today and then Keith and Charlotte arrived so then John went and helped Charlotte set up. Let the teaching begin!! Once that was done and the hot water heater was running, it was time to sit and relax.
Trueman stopped by for a quick visit and met our new neighbors. His daughter is arriving tomorrow evening. She wants a couple of days "down" time then wants to see the Grand Canyon. I invited them both for supper on Saturday so hopefully she will feel like coming.
Once Trueman left, the fire burnt down and it was time for a quick supper. some TV then off to bed. We never did hear from Mom and Georgie again so assume they made it out of town and into Vegas. It is hard to keep track of those two Grannies!!
All in all, another good day!!
