Please don't leave me!

Kingman, here we come!

Driving along the Joshua Tree Parkway

Arriving at Kingman

It is a bit cloudy this morning - a good day to travel.  I must get some coffee into me to get that "kick start" I need to get this bus road ready.  I simply can not have everything flying around while we are on the move.
Once John was up and had enough coffee on board, it took us less than half an hour to have camp broken down and head down the road.
The drive was uneventful  and it is always nice to drive the Joshua Tree Parkway.  They are the most unusual looking trees.  Given their name by the Mormons, the tree grows only in four states  and although it grows 3 inches a year for the first ten years of its life, it then only grows  about an inch there after.  By looking at the pics, the trees that we passed are several years old!!
We arrived in Kingman with plenty of time to shop at Walmart,  fill the bus with fuel and water and watch some TV before the kids arrived at midnight.  They were both tired and headed to the motel soon after arriving.  Coors stayed with us and looked so sad as he sat on the dash, watching Jace and KIm drive away.  He had been abandoned.
