Oh, the sun is shining and the birds are singing and the kids are going to show up here today for a week long visit.  Yea - life is grand.
Casey got a job - thank you Lord - as a welder's helper and what more could I possibly ask for.  His career is now starting and if he plays his cards right, he can be set for life.  The company he is working for, will apprentice him for his future welding schooling - now that is sweet.
Coors has been really good.  He stayed in camp all day yesterday and was very friendly when Ben came by with Grace.  I kept his short lead on him just in case there were issues but, there was none.  All three of the dogs did well.
Ben drove himself to the hospital today and will still be in surgery at the time of this writing.  I am sending lots of "get well" angels to him today.  His daughter and ex-wife will be spending the next week with him.
All is well in Marie's World!!
John and I cleaned up the trailer.  I have never seen it so messy!!  It is now ready for the children.  I got the linen and the mattress down from the pods and now their bed is also ready for them.  I am such a good Mom!!
It is so darn hot out, that after John and I were finished with the tidying up, we both had showers and then wandered down to visit with Charlotte and Keith.  John invited them for supper (since I made a ton of potato salad) and once the sun went down and the chill was in the air, we all wandered over to the campfire and got supper on the gill.
Casey called with the awesome news that he had passed his math test for his welding course and I was thrilled.  He said he was doing "grunt" wok as a welder's helper but they wee 900 welding hours behind on their projects and he had been told to bring his welding helmet in to work so, maybe he will be welding a lot sooner than he thinks!!  He sounded so happy and it looks like things Are finally coming together for him.  It really is quite marvelous how things turn out when one actually applies one's self!!
Jace and Kim text us and said they had left Vegas late and would be spending the night in Kingman.  We will see them tomorrow.  Sooooo....we had to party without them!!
The fire, eventually burned down and our neighbors left as they were going to check out the flea market at Wittman early tomorrow morning.
It was a lovely evening and fun was had by all.  Even the dogs enjoyed the day!!
