Another great day shaping up. Hogan & I and Ben & Grace hiked for several miles today and it was good to get back out there again. I hadn't really done any significant walking since Friday's climb up Vulture Peak. It was time to get back into gear. It was a good walk and we found all sorts of sticks suitable for the hiking sticks Ben makes. He now has lots of work ahead of him. This includes finds a different campsite - the bees have finally won the battle. It is a good thing that Ben has decided to move.

We spoke with Larry and Ariane today. They have reached Las Vegas and will be spending the rest of the week there. We will see them maybe, on the weekend. They are not sure how long they will stay in this area as they still plan on heading into New Mexico and maybe Texas to see cousins. It will be good to see them for a while though.

We seem to be having issues with the inverter tonight. It doesn't seem to be providing any power up into the bus so I am hoping that it is just a simple issue (like a fuse or something) instead of something that will cost an arm and and leg to fix. John can check it out tomorrow in the light of the day. Keep your fingers crossed!!
