We awoke to beautiful sunshine. It is to get to +25C today and what more could anyone ask for? I noticed that it was -24C back at home and that did not include the windchill factor. I should feel guilty - right? Someone stole the electrical cord our oldest son used to plug in his truck so I imagine it was frozen solid and not able to start. Not good for a diesel engine!! Maybe I will send him my warmest wishes!!
I noticed on facebook that our friends Larry and Ariane are now in Nevada "thawing out" as she put it so, am glad that they finally made it to the warmer weather. They will be here in Wickenburg for Christmas and that will be great.
John and I just spent an hour on skype with Jace and it was so nice to see him and his girlfriend Kim. Kim mentioned that it was only about 84 more sleeps till they come to visit us. I think I am looking as forward to this as much as Kim and Jace are.
We spent a quiet day today in the shade. I walked over to Ben's camp to return his sunglasses (left here yesterday) and saw the problem he has with all the honey bees. WOW, there were hundreds in his camp. I am surprised that he hasn't been stung yet. I did suggest he go into town and get a couple of traps and see if that helps - short of packing up and moving, I don't know what else to suggest.
I was cooking supper tonight when Grace appeared out of the blue. She came for a visit without Ben and we all know it is never a good thing when your dog starts to wander - bad things happen. Of course her and Hogan played a while then Ben showed up to escort the little escapee home.
