More sunshine today - what a burden to have to bare!! Today was the day we had set aside to take the motorhome back into town and dump the tanks and top off the diesel, water and propane. This all went smoothly and on the way home we stopped at the Ace Hardware and picked up the Christmas lights I had ordered. John managed to get that big bus into their not so big parking lot and I quickly ran into the store. I also picked up a couple of wasp traps because there are lots back at the campsite - especially now that I have put out the hummingbird feeder. The hummingbirds are frequent visitors but the wasps are constant. While I was in the store, an older gentleman knocked on the door of the bus and told John that he was taking up two parking spaces with the bus!!! John looked at the guy and in his special "John way" asked him if he was the parking lot cop!! The fellow said "No" and moved on and I came out of the store just then so we left as quietly as that 40 foot bus could leave!!!
Back at camp we were ready to settle in till hopefully the end of January so John got out the solar lights and started arranging them around the campsite. Time to make this place look a little more homey. We set up the wasp traps and by that time it was happy hour and time to relax and watch the sun set. There are some beautiful sunsets in this area. All in all, a good day.
