Back from town and the little truck was fixed and ready to go ($65.00). Had to look for some LED Xmas lights for the tree as I didn't bring any of the ones from the house. I packed them with the big tree and gave them to my sister Jan. Had to end up ordering lights at the hardware store so they should be here Wednesday (coming from Phoenix) then, I can put my tree up and get the bus looking like Christmas. Wow, Christmas in Arizona - who would have thought it!!
United States Postal Service was more than happy to take $30.00 from me to post all the cards and the one parcel so that little job was done as well. Hopefully the stuff gets to Saskatoon before St. Nick does!!
Back at the bus, John got the phony fire pit out and we sat around it, had a few drinks and pretended it was "REAL". It sure is handy when you want a fire and there is no wood available - which is pretty common around here. The wind came up and we ended up moving the fire into the trailer and we sat around it inside the trailer!! One advantage to the phony fire pit - very mobile!!
