Hogan and I are awake early again this morning and it looks like it rained a bit during the night.  The Palo Verde tree that sits directly in front of the bus is glistening with rain and looks awesome as the sun shines on it.  It resembles a tree of little crystals and makes one almost forget that it is one of the many "armed" trees here in this desert.  All those pretty little "crystals" rain drops are hanging off very pointy, very sharp little spikes!!  You got to love the desert!!
Trueman stopped by for a visit this morning and Charlotte and Keith wandered over to say hello to him as well.  We sat around for a good hour chatting until Trueman finally carried on to his mine.  John took the extra propane radiant heater over to  Keith and Charlotte yesterday when they arrived and today Charlotte is basking  in its warmth.  I think she likes feeling that heat and I guarantee you, being chilly sucks - big time.  Heat - another one of life's little pleasures!!
It has rained off and on all day today and has been anything but friendly outside.  I did not get the bird feeders up so my feathered desert friends will have to wait until tomorrow.
We spent the majority of the day just relaxing - John on the computer and me reading my book.  TV after supper then bed.  Hopefully tomorrow's weather is a bit better and we can be outside finishing off the "getting settled in" part.
