That's what she said
This week found us taking Booko for his microchip.  Tractor Supply Store has a veterinarian that comes every week so now was the time to get the dog chipped.  I had a bit of a fist fight with Booko earlier this day as he was bound and determined not to get into the shower and I was more determined that he would get into the shower!!   I won the battle and the damn dog was clean when we went to the vet!!   Of course, once we got him out of the truck and into the store he started coughing and hacking and gagging and making quite a spectacle of himself.  I thought that perhaps I may have wrenched his neck, ruptured his trachea or rearranged his cervical vertebrae during our battle earlier in the day.  I was feeling guilty and all that damn gagging was making it any better!!  While we were there, the girls discovered that he was due for his kennel cough needle so that was done along with his microchip.  All the while we coughed and hacked while we walked out of the store!!
This week also found Kay and I back at Home Depot to return the 5000 watt air conditioner that sounded like a damn tractor when the compressor cut in.  Gosh, we had to turn up the television when it cut in!!  Of course we had been using it since we bought it a few weeks ago but we were certainly not going to mention that little fact.  We were in and out of the store in half an hour with a brand new 8000 watt air conditioner.  We took it home, hooked it up and enjoyed the very quiet motor!!  Life is good!!
We had to make one final trip up to the canyon on the quads this week as well.  It is Lorne and Marilyn's final week down here and we usually do one final trip.  It was uneventful and we managed to get as far as the cottonwoods.  The water was still flowing pretty good and we decided to stay at the cottonwoods instead of heading further into the canyon.  We stayed there a few hours then headed for home.  We took Blue Tank Road and headed over to the trail that would take us the back way home.  It was a nice day and the trail was awesome.  We arrived before the daylight was gone and that is always a good thing.  The campfire was lit and we continued our day around it.
We took a trip up to Congress this week as well.  We had a few beers and supper and it was decided that I would be the designated driver!!  Shit, oh dear..... I really hate driving in the dark!!   I managed to get us all home safe and sound and I am sure that is because Lorne was my navigator!!

Moglie was not feeling well this week so Kay and I ended up taking both him and Corinna into the vet.  He was feeling better by the time we got him to the vet so it was needle time for both of them. Neither one of them really appreciated the trip but it is always good to know that their needles are up to date.
Kay took the Toyota in for its annual wash and detail so now we are cruising in a VERY clean ride!!
Sunday brought the first of April which in turn heralded in April Fools Day and Kay's birthday.  Lorne and Marilyn decided to stay to celebrate Kay's birthday and we decided to have a catfish fry.  We took Kay to the bar for a few beers before heading home for supper.  I had stolen the last of Terry's ( Kay's friend from Nephi) catfish and had bought some more at Safeway so we had plenty to go around.  Ray and Mitch both came over for supper and it was delicious.   The whole evening was too much fun and was a great way to end the week.  Life is good!!
