It is a travel day today so we packed up and waited for the cats to "come home".  Corinna was the first to make an appearance and quickly got into the camper for breakfast.  Moglie, on the other hand decided he did not like all the hustle and bustle around camp and stayed on the gas tank.   Kay ended up grabbing him and dragging him off the tank after several failed attempts to get him to come out with offers of chicken and cheese!!  He was not having anything to do with that!!
With the cats safely inside the camper, we headed into Flagstaff and the local Big O Tires shop.  John had punched in the address into the GPS and we found it quite easily.  That however is not always the case with that stupid bit of technology!!
It took two and a half hours at the tire shop.  John had to get his grinder out of the truck to cut a wheel stud off as one was needing to be replaced.  Fortunately there was no charge for that service as apparently they had nothing available to get the damn thing off with.   Kay also found out that Ray had put car tires on the trailer instead of trailer tires so that bit of information did not sit very well. With two new tires on the trailer, we were ready to continue our journey.
We fuelled up and headed out.  Tonight, we would be sitting in a sweet little spot beside the San Juan River south of Bluff, Utah.
It was a longer day of travel but we made it in fairly good time.  It was getting dark and of course we don't really like to travel at this time of night but we really wanted to make this destination for the night.  The highway travels through open range and when we encountered a group of rather large cows (one which was directly in our lane and NOT moving out of the way) well, this was when John informed me that this is precisely the reason why he prefers NOT to drive at this time of night!!
We all made it safe and sound, encountered no more stubborn, four legged animals and settled in around the "campfire" in a can.   Corinna went cruising the area but Moglie decided to stay in for the night.  I think he was still mad about being so unceremoniously pulled off the top of the gas tank earlier this morning!!
It was a quick supper and off to bed.  Tomorrow we would be sitting in a sweet campground near Arch Canyon and it really wasn't that far away so we had a short drive tomorrow.   Life is Good!!
