Sunday, February 12/2017 - Saturday, February 18/2017

Sunday found Kay and I back at the fair.  We had seen a few things yesterday that we really liked and didn't buy so, after thinking about it over night, decided that we simply needed to return to the fair and pick up what we needed!!   The old adage "a fool and his money are soon parted" comes into play on days like this!!
I had decided that we needed one of those mancave wine staves for our place back home so had to go and get that.  Also, we had seen a "Life is Good" wine stave sign as well so we purchased that one too.  I also saw a t-shirt for John's birthday and Kay picked up a sweet necklace she had spotted yesterday that can hold a drop or two of your favourite essential oil.  Kay had also purchased a "spirit" feather yesterday.  It has a grizzly bear painted on it and looks awesome.
We returned to the house with our "booty" and chilled for the rest of the day.
John's Birthday arrived this week so we had to take him out to the local watering hole Mecca for a few beers.  The weather cooperated and we were able to sit out on the patio for our refreshments.
This week also saw Kay's friends Terry and Stefanie arrive for a short visit.  They arrived on Friday and will be staying for a few days.  They stayed in the camper while they are here and that worked well for everyone.  This way, they could sleep as long as they wanted and just chill!!
The rain started Saturday and continued all day,  It is scheduled to be a two day soaker and that will make the Hassayampa run so that will be cool.
The campfire needed a bit of encouragement with the rain but, we managed to get it going and enjoyed several adult beverages around it!!  It was a good way to finish off the week.  Life is good.....even if it is raining.

Cloudy days

Out for a cruise
