Happy Easter Everyone!
The sun was shining when we awoke and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the morning's coffee.
Kay and I took a short walk to the edge of the San Juan River with Booko and found that the water was flowing at a pretty good speed.  Booko did not seem inclined to go into the water but content to sniff around the edges.  That was probably a good thing as I am not sure how good of a swimmer he is!!
We took our time packing up as we really only had a short distance to travel today.  The cats seemed content to stay in the trailer this morning and we have come to learn that on travel days, that, is a good thing.
We arrived at the campground early and set up camp.  Both cats came out of the trailer to check out their new surroundings and both seemed happy to frolic in the grasses and amongst the cottonwood trees.  The creek was nearby and they checked that out as well.
Booko seemed equally as content until he discovered that the campsite had some nasty thorns.  Nasty little buggers called "goat heads" and they are more evil than stepping on a piece of lego!! He soon learned to avoid most of them however, we did manage to carry a few into the trailer which were soon discovered by bare feet.  There were a few rather colorful words emanating from inside the trailer on occasion!!

Heading out

The day was spent enjoying the sunshine and eventually the campfire.  Tomorrow, Kay and I will scoot into town for some groceries and ice.  A quick trip and then we will quad Arch Canyon.
Life is Good!!

Great way to end the day
