Once again, the sun is shining and another awesome day is ahead.  It is Jace's 30th birthday today so Debbie was on a mission to fill him full of all sorts of nasty ass shooters.   Time to get the birthday boy drunk and she actually did a pretty good job of it.  We spent most of the day on the upper deck where there were sunburns to go around for all those fair skinned women.  God, didn't anybody bring sunscreen???
Karen bought cake mix so made Jace and Debbie both birthday cakes.  Jace's was made in a pan shaped like boobs and of course Debbie's resembled a penis.   Totally sick!!!  LOL    We spent the next few days eating boobs and dick!!
John and Don took over the hot tub and partied in it off and on all day.  Out of everyone on the boat, I think it was these two that enjoyed the hot tub the most.
As the evening wore on, we docked at a beach that had a nature walk up to a water fall.  It was supposed to take a couple of hours to get to the falls and back so a few of us decided to head on out.   I am always up for a walk so got my hiking boots on and headed up the trail with Jace, Kim, Collin, Debbie, Karen and Kelsey.  Storm clouds have moved in and it looked like we were going to get some rain.  Hopefully we would be back before that happened.
The trail started out easily enough but soon turned into an uphill climb.  Karen was questioning as to whether or not she could actually make it and I too was wondering.  Being in the evening, it was better for all of us to stay together so heading back was not an option.  We had several stops along the way to rest our screaming muscles and catch our breath.  I was sweating so much that my glasses kept fogging up so that made walking the rather precarious trail that much more dangerous!!
The rain was not to wait and since I was sweating like a crazy woman welcomed the cooling drops.  There was LOTS of lightning and thunder and at one point Kimmy screamed so loud that Collin thought he may never hear out of his one ear again!!
We finally made it to the top and the falls and indeed it was an awesome view.   We took several pictures and headed down.  Thankfully we had traversed the steepest part of the trail going up and the return trail was more user friendly.  I can not imagine what the other trail would be like after all the rain.
Back at the boat, it was Karen's turn to cook and she had prepared spaghetti and meat sauce.  It too was  delicious and certainly hit the spot.
There was more kaiser and cribbage today, swimming and hot tubing.
Once the rain quit, we were blessed with a double rainbow.   Wow......life is good!!
