It is cloudy and overcast this morning. Hopefully the weather will clear and we will see some sunshine. We cruised up yet another arm of this huge lake in the hopes of finding the cliff diving spot of Copper Island. We got the the island and yet failed to find the spot. There were no signs indicating the spot and it certainly did not jump out at us so unfortunately we could not go cliff jumping. And that...may have been a good thing.
Jace and Riley did however find an old rope dangling from a tree and managed to swim to it, climb the rope and jump into the lake.
On the way back from Copper Island, Bernie saw a sign for ice cream so piloted the boat towards the ice cream shop. After a rather precarious landing, those who wanted ice cream got it and we backed out of the dock leaving it in the same shape we found it. Good driving Bernie!!
It was Debbie and Collins turn to cook and we feasted on Spiced beef and rice. Mmmmm, another awesome meal.
We had purchased some wood at the store for a campfire and we all sat around it. Both Jace and Riley partied today and it was Jace who stumbled up the gangplank tonight (he blamed it on the chair.....likely story)!!
Another great day on the boat.
