This is our last full day on the boat.  This trip is soon coming to an end and once again we will be back into the same old rat race we call life.
It is dreary and cloudy out today although there is some blue sky trying to break through.
We heard from Kay and she is in hospital recovering from surgery and a ruptured appendix.  That totally sucks for her as I am not sure is she will be able to travel on the 10th.    We will see.
We are casting off early so that the guys can see if they can catch any more salmon.    The day was spent playing cards.  Unfortunately, there were no more salmon caught and we docked early.  Since tonight is our last night we will be having an campfire and setting off all the fireworks.  It should be an awesome show and there are a ton of them.
Once we docked, some of us decided to swim and Karen got out all the water toys she brought and the biggest water fight ever ensued.  Kudos to Karen for bringing all the "ammo" and everyone, swimming or not was included in the fight.  No one was safe.
We got the campfire going and the fireworks set up.  It was Don and Riley's turn to cook and we had elk and moose steak, pasta and caesar salad.  It was, once again, phenomenal food.  We also cleaned up left over baked potatoes and lemon roast potatoes.
It was Riley's turn to party and he ended up with a nasty headache and started to feel sick at his stomach.   I gave him a gravel tablet to settle his stomach and he slept off that bit of nonsense.  I helped Don prepare his meal and saved supper for when Riley woke up.
It was soon time to start the fireworks and they were awesome.  It was a wonderful way to end our seven day trip on the boat.
Tomorrow we are back in port and heading home.
